ESL(English as a Second Language) Classes
The Association for New Canadians offers Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC), a national English as a Second Language (ESL) program delivered by qualified and experienced instructors. The program is based on the underlying principles of adult language learning and teaching as defined in the Canadian Language Benchmark document.
Instruction is provided for levels ranging from the Pre-benchmark level to CLB Level 7. Students at Level 7 would be preparing to go into the workforce or to further their studies at the college or university level.
Average class size is between sixteen and eighteen students. Computer assisted language instruction is part of the curriculum.
Students from many different countries give the school a truly international atmosphere and make it an exciting place to study. The experienced staff make it a welcoming place for all students.
